Greggor (President) can often be found with Archie the pup near by. He is a large supporter of the library seamlessly taking on meetings, agendas and leading the board. Greggor is always down to help with a fundraiser or library event. You will find him doing any task that needs to be done a real team player for the library.

Ed (Vice-President) is a longtime resident of Cairo. He serves on the Cairo Planning Board. Maureen Forrester would be proud of the advocate Ed is for the library she helped shape. Ed is a social butterfly often found frequenting the local restaurants and supporting the local economy.

Mark (Treasurer) is the the library’s version of national treasure. There is not a day that goes by where mark isn’t supporting the library in some fashion. He is Mr. Fix-it, Advocate and treasurer wrapped in one. When he has left the library for the day he is probably supporting one of the other many foundations he is on the board of.

Diana (Secretary) when she isn’t taking minutes for the library Diana can probably be found at CDF making Cairo a better place for everyone to live. She is a driving force in Cairo. If there is a project that needs doing she will be there helping it happen.

Adrianne has lived in the Hudson Valley for 30 years, and she is currently a resident of Cairo.

Anna (Alt) Anna is a advocate for everyone at her job and her advocacy does not stop there. She is a community voice raising awareness to local issues and helping out where ever she can. She recently helped with Cairo’s comprehensive plan. She is a local that supports the community in every way. When not at the Library you can catch her at Red Star and she is excited to frequent the new book shop.

Lauren (Alt) started at the library as a parent in Tiny Tots and has flourished into a wonderful board member. She supports the library as a participant in events and active patron taking advantage of all the library has to offer. She was the perfect pick to round out the current Board.

Stephen (Town Rep) serves the library as the town representative. He can speak on the benefit a library is to the community. He wears many hats and serves as a town rep for a few Cairo
